​From Behind the Wheel to Leading the Way in Trucking Excellence. The story of Khela Freightlines Inc. begins with Jt Khela, a driven entrepreneur with a deep passion for trucking and a commitment to doing things the right way. Jt earned his CDL in December 2016 and hit the road, gaining firsthand experience as a professional driver. After just eight months behind the wheel, he decided to take the next big step — to build something of his own. On June 22, 2017, he officially founded Khela Freightlines Inc., setting out with a clear vision: to create a company built on reliability, integrity, and respect for drivers and customers alike.
He purchased his first brand-new truck — a Freightliner Cascadia — and, together with his brother, began hauling freight across the country. The two worked hard and stayed dedicated, expanding the business with a second truck in April 2018. For several years, they both drove over the road, learning every side of the business from the ground up.

By 2020, Khela Freightlines began partnering with owner-operators, building a strong network of professionals who shared the same values of hard work and dependability. Growth continued steadily, and by 2022, the company proudly had 25 owner-operators on the team.
In 2025, Jt took another major step forward by investing in company-owned trucks — now operating a modern fleet of 10 company trucks alongside 25 owner-operators.
From one truck to a thriving fleet, Jt’s journey is a testament to dedication, perseverance, and a genuine love for the industry. Under his leadership, Khela Freightlines Inc. continues to deliver excellence mile after mile — supporting drivers, serving customers, and keeping America’s freight moving.
